An uplifting story of personal growth and development of all characters. The story progresses at a leisurely pace, and tackles very subtle personal issues that pass under our noses in our day-to-day lives.
What made me keep watching this show was how it defied so many tropes and strayed from the typical plot line. If you watch this, I think you'll be in for a surprise.
The best way to describe this show might be a heart-warming chicken soup. But I think only people who need the chicken soup will truly appreciate it. Like if you're in the midst of a hot summer, a hot bowl of chicken soup might not be so appreciated. But if you've caught a cold, it might be the best thing ever.

Alan Turing is portrayed like what someone who has never interacted with actual smart people think smart people act. Stand-offish, oh I'm so different to everyone else, I don't know how to make jokes, I take what people say literally, oh I'm so smart and different. Quietly flexing in every opportunity to express how smart he is and one-up the people around him.
Besides that, the lines of each character feel like obvious scripts, like no one in real life would actually say what they say, making the movie very un-immersive. You can tell that the screenwriters are trying to make the actor's lines dramatic and cool but it's quite off-putting.
Finally, they took too many liberties with the actual history of what happened. An achievement like this should be properly celebrated and not embellished and falsely portrayed.
