Hollywood is a tough place. This film must be for the arts crowd. That isn't me so I just don't get it. I do not understand how some movies make it to production. This is one of those films. This looks like something very young and inexperienced teenagers would produce for a tenth grade art project. There's low budget, and there's Melrose. Horribly shot. Horribly edited. Horribly depressing storytelling. The dialogue is so unbelievably unrealistic.
The actress Jinny is GREAT - obviously knows what she'll is doing and gets 10 stars, but the rest of the actors and film get negative stars so I gave it a 3.

Loved the crime thriller storyline, but oh my gosh Al Pacino's acting, wardrobe, and hair cost this movie many stars. I don't know why he was cast in this role, why he was attired in this manner, and how he looked in his vanity mirror and said to his stylist or himself "HOO HAH THAT'S IT!!" Lots of coed eye candy in this flick. Lots of suspend disbelief scenes, also. I know it takes place in Seattle, but a cabby letting frumpy dressed bouffant hairdo Al take over his cab? Unreal. The opening courtroom scene is memorable for its surreal feel. Al's apartment in some unnamed tony neighborhood of rainy Seattle is amazing. The b-list support actors and actresses perform much better than a-list Al, and deserve awards for carrying this movie.
Just an awful, awful film production with horrific acting, writing, sound, lighting, and every other aspect that makes a good film.
I often wonder how these type of films get green lit. But then again, it was the early 1980's when pubescent titillation was hard to come buy for teen boys. So, so many awful jokes, one liners, and plays on words.
The girls are beautiful.
Taft and Adams? Really? In Canada nonetheless.
