I love a corny Christmas movie. In fact I look forward to November every year so I can binge on tv Christmas movies that I've never heard of before in my life.
But this one isn't just corny it's juuuuuust exhausting.
Could have been a cute story but the constant weird characters just put me so off the story.
Lead actors are cute but just weird and I spent scene after scene questioning who put this cast together.
The cousin was quite funny and I think I would have enjoyed that scene but it came quite far into the movie so instead of finding it humorous I was quite annoyed by it by that stage. As far as Christmas movies go this would be at the bottom of my watch list. Unless you're super keen on weird I'd keep scrolling.
My question is how many people that watch these types of Christmas movies want that weird element??? What's the target here. I'm so confused lol.

VERRRRRY typical... which I can usually put up with but the usual Netflix agendas thrown in and all of that era they tried to throw in it was often just a bit off (as someone who lived it at that age lol).

Oh dear. I just wanted this one to finish. There's really not too much more to say. The acting was mediocre. The story was lame. I tried to enjoy it for the flashback value but it couldn't seen past the other things and do that.

This has to be the hardest series I've ever had to try and watch. I really wanted to make it through given its high rating and reviews... and I love a good bio flick or docuseries... wow this was soooooooo boring.
I stopped quite a few times and restarted quite a few times. I finally made it half way through episode 6. And I know this was supposed to be the episode that hits the hardest and I'm supposed to be all like wow and amazed and it's all supposed to be very emotional but ..... I can't even express the boredom I felt. The whole story is very unfortunate and shattering but... sadly I felt boredom before ANY of those things.
I have nothing else to say. Just boredom.
