If you're a fan of FMV games (full motion video) you won't be disappointed with Daemon_9. This is similar in concept to Sara is Missing or Simulacra, where the basic plot is that something tragic happened to someone and you're trying to piece together what happened to them. However, in my opinion this game does a better job of immersing you into it's world. During your investigation you'll come across articles, videos, weblinks, police evidence, and you'll be introduced to different characters. Also the weblinks you find open up in your real web browser, so by doing this Daemon_9 adds a layer of immersion that the other aforementioned titles don't have. You can tell a lot of time was spent on creating the videos, articles, evidence, and websites. While the acting can be a little campy at times it's still a very well done production that you can tell was crafted with care and attention to detail. I may be a little biased because I'm already a fan of games like this, but this is a title I won't ever forget and will look back at fondly. You can find it on Steam and it's priced very reasonably. Like I said before, if you're a fan of FMV games do yourself a favor and buy it.
