What a load of boring pretentious rubbish.
Other than the title and names it bears no resemblance to Dune, acting is slow, the story is at best mediocre and hard to follow.
Characters are not believable or engaging enough as for the acting Emma Watson and Mark Strong sleep walked through it and showed no passion for what they where doing.
If the rest of the series is as shallow and slow as the first episode, I think I will paint the shed and then watch it dry, that was 60 minutes of my life I will not get back.
As for the hight scores given to this, I can only assume they have not been watching the same show.

While looking for a rare film called Where's Jack, starring Tommy Steel, and Stanley Baker.
I came across this little unknown jem and very rarely seen tv xmas play from my childhood, which i remember watching when i was a youngster, forgot all about it till i found the full version on YouTube quality isn't the best but good enough to bring the memories flooding back, if you your children or grandchildren enjoy musical pantomimes made in a time when children's entertainment was exactly that, then sit back and enjoy as your in for a treat.
It star the very watchable Tommy Steel , with comedy actors like Roy Kinnear, Lance Percival, and a very young Patsy Kensit.

The story is good and If this film had a half decent director and a half decent cast it could of been worth watching but unfortunately the cast is dire and painful to watch.and the film is so slow I nearly fell asleep, the 2 stars are for the story.
