This is a not necessarily a brilliant film in terms of tension, suspense and thrills but the layers beneath the writing compell you to keep watching, hoping to gain more knowledge.
On the surface, this may look like a story of the obsessed artist who feels his art has been compromised by the upper class and the effects of consumerism. This drives him to create the menu. The clear allegory of consumerism and the upper class are represented by the snobby characters juxtaposed to Anya Taylor Joy's character.
The interpretation that I have taken from this film applies to the current art of filmmaking in today's cinema. Ralph Fiennes character is the filmmaker who has lost his love for the true art of cooking because of the people who are consumed by money and greed and do not understand the art i.e. His customers. Nicholas Hoult's character represents the everyday consumer who has no original opinion but instead blindly follows herd mentality.
This is very applicable in today's society as many filmmakers are just trying to please people while losing their own love for the art. Anya Taylor Joy's character reminds him of his initial love for the art which provides a fitting conclusion.

Contained all the things we've come to expect from a Dwayne Johnson movies and for most people that seems to be enough. But it lacked any originality and quality in writing with a few good directing choices.
The characters were all really one dimensional and lacked any real development. Doctor fate was promising and I look forward to what DC plans to do with his character in the future. Hawkman was not great but I was genuinely surprised on how they used him and they did it better than the arrowverse.
The rest of the justice society were clearly there as filler and showed how much they need their own movie since all they did was play second fiddle to black Adam obviously.
Black Adam was the hollow point as he is everything you would expect him to be which is the biggest issue here. This movie was just a filler setup for his big showdown with Superman.

If you have some unique desire to destroy your brain and leave your eyes unable to look at anything again, please go watch this movie.
This is so incredibly bad, it has redefined how bad a movie can be. To call it a movie is unfair to movies. This is just gibberish made from an endless supply of money.
