But looking at poor Marlo Thomas's face sent me packing. Why do women insist on doing that to themselves? It's tough to look at, makes it impossible to pay attention to her dialog, so I changed the channel.
Certainly producers and directors are aware of how badly this looks. Instead of a Christmas movie, it made me think it was a documentary on the evils of bad plastic surgeons.
Just very difficult to look at.

The ending dance could have been spectacular if not for the poor choice of song. Who dances a seductive dance to "Oh Holy Night?" It was just disrespectful and ick.
The movie up that point was predictable. Thrown together they are going to dance together in a competition. No romance is allowed.
Of course there is an ex partner who tries to mess things up between the new couple.
But that dance with that song was just a bad idea.
