An enjoyable moody mystery about a retired priest who regrets not helping a girl 40 years ago. It's a slow burn character study about wishing to change the past and by some magic of the celestial stars he gets to change his past. There are some jump scares but it's not a horror movie. It's an emotional drama about two people who crossed paths by chance and the priest was too scared to help her at that time but gets a chance at redemption. It's part sci-fi mystery drama that's worth a watch and is only an hour long so pacing is perfect. Watch it for the cinematography and acting. Well done for a low budget single location drama.
Decent acting and nice cinematography of snow covered town where a geologist gets infected by a virus like the thing. Lower your expectations and it's not a bad watch. Clearly director didn't have money to do creature effects so there are no creatures just people pretending to be infected. For thing fans it's still worth a watch but don't expect the quality of even John Carpenter's original. Saw this on Tubi so hard to complain when it's free. Give this a chance for a low budget body snatchers movie as there's worse movies out there. TBH there's not much horror but still not a bad who goes there drama.
Never saw the original Rosemary's baby but everyone knows the story. There's been a lot of remakes of the same story like Immaculate and First Omen both released this year and I thought this was better than both. Don't watch this for horror or suspense cause there is none. You know the story and ending. But it's a great performance from the lead actress displaying vulnerability and fear. I wasn't bored and I'm not even a fan of this genre. There are no surprises or plot twists but it's still a captivating character study drama so I didn't have to fast forward the movie which I had to do with Immaculate and First Omen to get thru it. So that says something.
