This could have been great , it certainly had the cast , with the right experience . The sloth like Crowe was a shadow of the man who played James Braddock in Cinderella Man .
The movie was a Cliche , borrowing chunks from Rocky , Kung Fu and the Karate Kid ... The scenes where the hero's training sessions consist of , catching blue bottles and blindfolded hand fishing were ludicrous enough, however the , getting electrocuted by an eel was just mental ! And if it didn't torture the Jem Belcher it will certainly torture the audience.

You can actually see the ' actors ?' eyes move as they read their lines without even a hint of believability. Every now and again the actors will actually stare into the camera as if seeking reassurance . The attempted accents are cringe worthy and frequently change from line to line.
Sometimes bad or over acting can be entertaining from a laughable perspective .This movie couldnt raise a smile.
