This is an absolutely epic final episode to fantastic season. Antony Starr proves once again that his performance as Homelander is one of the best in television history. Karl Urban proves that his performance as Billy Butcher is absolutely iconic as well. This final episode was shocking, unexpected, and had so many iconic moments. The final twenty minutes were an absolute masterclass of storytelling. The ending shocked me so much and I did not expect it to happen at all. This episode let everyone have their moment to shine, with Homelander absolutely owning this episode in particular. This is arguably the best episode of the show!
Episode 7 was the clear best episode of the season. Jake Gyllenhaal proves yet again that he is one of the best actors working today with every scene. This episode has some of the most intense scenes of any series I've ever seen. The directing in the court room scenes are immaculate and should get Emmy nominations next year, along with the performances by Jake Gyllenhaal and Peter Sarsgaard. This episode leaves you anticipating the next week and constantly thinking about what could happen. As we approach the final episode, this episode asks all the questions in the best way possible. This is the best episode of the season so far!
This episode was truly brilliant on every level. It was so messed up at every second, but was so much fun to watch. Antony Starr proves once again (with his limited screentime in this episode) that he gives one of the best performances in television history. This episode was pure chaos from start to finish, and served as a part two to "Herogasm." While "Herogasm" is still the best episode of The Boys, this episode was still great. I absolutely loved seeing more acting work for Jack Quaid and he is brilliant here. Karl Urban gets to show off wonderful work here with his limited screentime. This episode has some of the craziest moments in The Boys, and is one of the best episodes of the series!
