It took me about 10 minutes to realize how terrible this movie is. I fast forwarded and stopped at random places to see what was happening. (nothing) I fast forwarded to the end just to see what happens. (nothing) AWFUL. Most of these actors are really talented but were not believable at all in these roles. It just goes to show that it all starts with the writing. I don't know what point the filmmakers were trying to make. I really can't say much else about it but the reviews won't be published unless you type in a certain number of words so I will just say that it failed on every level and I hated it.
I've watched hundreds of movies in my lifetime and this might possibly be the worst movie I've ever seen. There are literally no words to describe how bad it is but one of the other reviewers called it absurd and that's a pretty good description. Cringy works too especially when it comes to the older son's relationship with the 17 year old girl. Not a single character is likeable in any way.
I logged on with only one goal: to warn people of the horrible, way too loud background sounds and what do you know, 2 people had already written about it. I've seen hundreds of movies in my lifetime and this is the most annoying sounding movie I've ever seen. I had to turn it up so loud to hear the dialogue and then the background sounds were ridiculously loud. There was also way too much of it. I think the finished movie must have seemed monotonous to the director so he asked the music/sound people to "punch it up". WAY TOO MUCH background sound. I could barely watch it but I wanted to know who the killer was.
