This amazing film is on par with "Apocalypse Now" and other exceptional pieces of world cinema. If you are trying to understand the psyche of Russian aggressors and to make sense of dynamics in the war in Ukraine then start with watching this. It will probably reveal to you more than best documentaries could do. But besides that this film is of incredible artistic quality that one can see and feel in every single shot. All characters with their personal stories are performed by brilliant actors; the cameraman managed to create unbelievable dynamics that does not let you look away for a second ; impressive sound scape - all ingredients are examples of highest level of mastery. And the film maker himself of course! He created a true masterpiece.
