Wow... our family loves Jesus and that was HARD to watch! The movie was just under 2hrs but it felt like I was worked a double shift of watching paint dry... this thing just kept dragging on!
Both of my boys (6 and 8) years old gave the movie thumbs down, It's just not good.
The "Faith lessons" were barely lessons at all and at times felt a little "culty", the dialogue was bad, the acting was super lame-o, the "funny" parts were so bad you couldn't even muster up a chuckle, and there is a beaver in the movie that was less believable than the gopher from Caddyshack... and that was 45 years ago!
If you're looking for a good, family fun, faith based movie... keep looking! Cause this one is absolutely atrocious.

This is absolutely thee greatest retelling of any military story in human history. Period.
I am a Navy Corpsman with 2 tours in Iraq under my belt where I served for 8 years as a combat medic attached to a Marine Corps Unit - HM3(FMF). Even though I e experienced: War, explosions, gunfire, loss of friends... I still cannot even begin to fathom the Hell these men had to face. The unthinkable combat they endured, and the demons they would undoubtably continue to battle once they returned home.
Their title of "The Greatest Generation" is deservedly earned and forever beyond contestation.
Men of Easy Company: May you all rest in the Shadow of the Almighty, finally at peace... with your entire Band of Brothers at your side.

This is one of thee hardest movies I've ever had to watch. It has been certified through historical texts, story, accounts that Jesus the man, actually lived. Even other religions agree on this fact. Whether or not you actually believe in the resurrection, is where the debate will come in. Whatever your stance is, it still doesn't change the fact that this event is 100% historically accurate and actually took place. This story is real, Jesus WAS a man, and he was killed. This movie simply chronicles the passion week. To know that any human being had to endure this kind of torture is beyond comprehension.
If you can stomach this movie, and believe jesus lived... it should change your life.
