It's a very pretentious, patronising, and self indulgent film in female hypocrisy. I think it would have worked if the casting was better. It would have worked if it where about a spoilt rich kid trying to piss off daddy.
Spoiler The films desire to be politically correct meant it was ok for the female lead to seek to emotional damage her husband while later in the film they lecture us about social rejection equating to physical abuse.
The sad thing is make it a cliche rich girl trying to piss off dad, with a talented yet down and out bad boy, and it's a sexy pleasant film, for young adults.

A good cast of character actors and a great lead actress, but you will not be captivated.
