After a long time, a family drama movie with no adult humour or adult scenes has arrived on the screens. Rajkumar Hirani's Dunki is heart touching with little drops of humour here and there.
The film explores the other side of the coin named immigration which not many people know about due to the never ending hype especially in northern India. Vicky Kaushal has played a short but impactful role. The supporting cast has done their job well too. The main cast however has not performed upto the mark. SRK has played his character with his classic acting style and Taapsee Pannu could definitely be replaced by someone else.
There were no major plot twists and everything could pretty much be predicted throughout the screenplay considering how easily it was given away. The songs are very average as well. The ending does get a bit emotional.
If you want to watch a movie with your family, this is your go-to movie after very intense movies like Animal. But don't go with very high expectations.

The Archies is a movie set in the 1960s where you will hardly find any element to make you feel that way. This is a highly unrealistic, impractical movie which has been produced just to launch the already privileged ones.
The acting has been pathetic by most actors and they can't connect with the audience whatsoever. Suhana Khan is nowhere near to the legacy of her father. Agastya Nanda hasn't acted any better as well. The acting was way too lifeless without any expressions and emotions. I suppose last name shouldn't be the only criteria for casting actors in a film.
Overall the movie is a strict NO NO! Avoid it even if it doesn't cost you anything extra monetarily. After all time is also money, right?

In the days when OTT platforms are giving us true entertainers like Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga and Gulmohar, the producers are aiming at filling their pockets in box office with just the presence of 'megastars' like Salman Khan. Creativity, originality, good music, good script, entertainment, you ask for it. You won't find any of these things in the movie.
It's not a secret that KKBKKJ is a remake of Tamil film Veeram. The makers tried to capitalize on just the name of Salman Khan. The movie will make tons of money nonetheless. If you are someone who actually cares for quality content and want value out of your money, AVOID this movie. And if your time is precious too, avoid this even when it releases on OTT platforms later.
The movie is a pathetic attempt to give Salman Khan a movie like SRK's Pathaan which was a box office blockbuster. Salman should now take retirement and make space for actual talented actors, scriptwriters and directors. As long as movies continue to be watched due to presence of a particular name, the new era of Bollywood which is marked by quality and creativity will wash out soon.
This movie is recommended only to people who have insomnia, or are just too happy with their life choices and need a change. For normal people, it's a big NO NO.
