Your average low-budget DisneyXD movie. Which is saying something since there are only 4 of them. It's quite predictable.
The cast is most of what this movie has going for it. If you liked Lab Rats and Mighty Med, you'll probably like this movie.
A few laughs and genuine enjoyment on my part. However, I don't know how much my opinion matters since I'm a 25-year-old woman with the sense of humour of a 12-year-old boy. This movie's humour is very Bradley Steven Perry, if that makes any sense. I even checked to see if he helped write it.
I was 15 when this movie came out but I couldn't get through it back then. I tried to watch it twice since then before basically forcing myself to get through the first 10 minutes today. Honestly, I loved this movie after that.
However, if you suffer from second-hand embarrassment, maybe don't watch this movie. I was squirming in my seat a few times because I knew what was about to happen.
Overall if you expect it to be cringe and meh then you'll probably enjoy it. Don't expect High School Musical, the Hannah Montana movie or Sky High.

I feel like people are harsh on this movie because it barely relates to the first.
Is this a bad movie? No. Is it a cringe movie? Yeah, I guess but I've watched a lot of cringe movies and this was ok. I even got a few genuine chuckles out of it.
Now am I saying this is the best movie ever? No, it's not amazing. Not really related to the first apart from (technically) 3 characters. It's a more light-hearted movie but still tries to be more... Grown-up? I guess.
If I were to describe what it felt like, I'd say... It's like an SNL skit where they tried to make a fake sequel with multiple genres, including sitcom, romance and spy movies. And somehow this movie made more sense than the first one.
Probably better off watching this pretending it's a stand-alone film. Because once you get past the feeling of "these are meant to be the same characters?" It's quite enjoyable.
Not any of the cast's best work but it looks like it was a lot more fun than the first movie.
Overall I'd say it's worth watching at least once, as long as you don't mind questioning everything while watching.
