While "Max Keeble" has his moments (there are moments of genuinely good humor, although they are few and far between) I wouldn't recommend it to an older audience.
It shows a blatant disrespect towards authority. In one instance near the beginning of the film, Max cuts the cord of the teacher's phone and vandalizes her classroom while she is teaching. In any other school in America this would get a child expelled. In Max Keeble's world, he gains popularity and practically is given a medal.
The "Evil Ice Cream Man" is just silly, and serves no purpose save dragging the plot along.
I really did like Alex D. Linz though, he was a real cutie. I fail to see, however, why he didn't go for the ninth grader.
I don't know why an earlier commenter said that it should be rated higher for ages 16+. Did they see the same movie I did? This was a kiddie-film through and through, and there was no mention of anything sexually related and there sure as hell weren't any sexual innuendoes to speak of.
If you want a cute movie for your kids get this movie, but don't plan on sticking around while they watch it.

I have seen a couple of episode of Kim Possible (I missed the pilot and quite a bit of others), but what I've watched amuses me. The Disney Channel has a reputation for bringing us "mediocre" to "kind of lame" to just plain "awful." However, I watched Kim Possible and I was very pleasantly surprised to find that it's quite funnier than the other crap Disney likes to call "television shows."
I thought I wouldn't like Kim initially, because from the promos she looked very annoying and unlikable, but on the actual show she's rather entertaining. Ron is my favorite, because he's just so cute, with his little molerat sidekick thing, and because he's hopelessly uncool and knows it. The plot was flimsy, but the humor passes it along nicely. I found the animation very smooth and colorful (it's eye-catching).
All in all, it's a bit more mature, and much wittier, than some of the other shows on Disney.

OK, stop me if you've heard this one: two annoyingly superficial prepubescent blonde twins go to a foreign country. There they meet two boys their same age (who are equally cute) and hook up. During all their foreign-adventures (like tasting the food, going wind-surfing, etc) a lame-ass subplot is forming, so at the very end of the movie it completely botches up what little plot had been built upon before.
Oh, wait... That sounds like every Olsen twins movie EVER. "Holiday in the Sun" doesn't disappoint us; it follows the exact same guidelines.
The Olsen twins' goal in life seems to be insulting teenagers everywhere. I have never met anyone that shallow in my life, and I find it terribly offensive to allude that we're like that in any way.
I'd like to tell the Olsen twins that 1) boys are not everything, and (this might be a surprise to you) a vacation CAN be complete without meeting any, 2) We do not wear what you wear, and we honestly don't care that you can afford it, and 3) if you want to make a movie, the first thing you need is some semblance to a plot. Meeting cute guys while some people are stealing antiques is not a plot. Meeting cute guys while some jewel thiefs linger around is also not a plot. Meeting cute guys while staying in a foreign country is not, and will never be under any circumstance, a plot.
"Holiday in the Sun" makes me sad, because it means that the Olsen twins are shoving crap that they say is an "accurate portayal of teenage life" into the public eye. Thus, adults treat teenagers as the stupid, vapid people the OLSEN TWINS are, and not every other person in America.
If you like this movie, then you are either freakishly bored or you are as shallow as they are.
I wonder why ABC Family continues to rerun everything they've done?
