Everyone else is commenting on the different actors and the story, so I won't. I like the voice of the dragon, it is not the worst animation. The show, atleast first season, has bad graphics, the effects is terrible, the fighting scenes are like a bad theater and the acting is bad. An example, when you put a sword into someone, there should be blood, but there isn't. Drama is everywhere, action and thriller is not. Still it's a captivating story and show. If you have nothing else to watch you might easily get hooked.
Season one: when does Merlin ever change clothes??
The king's character is foolishly banal, so much that you get tired of him.
I agree on others reviews, every episode kind of reset the characters. Merlin and Arthur should have been friends by now-episode 12 s1.. but there is this drama of mistrust all the time in the "inner circle" of friends. Season 1 makes no sense.
If you watch this on a modern TV, the graphics quality is really bad.

This, as a A- action movie is maybe okey. It is obviously an American movie where the "humans" still don't learn a thing. And (referring to other alien movies, maybe like Avengers Ultron) the human race lack creativity in making new tech/weapons/armor/intelligence etc. Aircraft scenes are like anyone "o o o please pull up". Inside enemy's "aircraft" they suddenly have a "Vietnam war/fighting in water and high grass". The one monster inside after prox 1 hour and 18 minute with 3 heads obviously looks like a hydra, other aliens obviously looks like old alien movies. So... storyline is pretty slim, quite predictable, sound is just high sound, but..: as an easygoing entertainment, some cute actors (male/female), and a couple old actors (the best(that nobody listen to/even if they saved the world last time) but the old ones is good character same as a couple new promising new actors) it is okey. As an WOW earth is going under movie it is just okey.
If you ignore the fact that gymnastics girls are well trained, and in this movie they all look good, it is exiting to watch hove incredibly gymnastics is. It's not like anyone can just do it, like everyone can hit a ball (meaning, to be good in football you ofcourse need to practice as much). Acting...hmm.. the coach is a really bad actor..its like she was just dropped down on pure luck. Same goes for some of the girls. The story is thin but if you want to see some spectacular moves ,(or just want to see some well shaped girls), this is it. The first movie does actually have a better story.
