Strange how people don't seem to like a movie unless it's complicated, with beautiful cinematics and lasts about 3hrs. No this isn't a Christopher Nolan movie, and nor should you go into it expecting that.
What it is, is an enjoyable modern-made western with good action, decent acting and some suspense. Every character isn't explored, every inch of the movie isn't deeply studied to ensure it's absolutely what would happen in real life - it's just a movie and one worth watching if you like the genre and perhaps movies that seem to have gone out of fashion...i.e. Primarily made to be enjoyed, not win awards.
It's no masterpiece and easy to pick holes if you want. I chose not to and enjoyed it.

Very enjoyable movie, it's not a classic, but it has a lot of classic movies in its DNA. Part Back To The Future, part Star Wars, part Guardians Of The Galaxy and a splash of Deadpool!
That alone makes it worth a watch, it's good fun and one you can enjoy with the family.
It can't compete with the above mentioned movies, but it's a genuinely enjoyable watch. Great soundtrack, great cast, good special effects, good humour and enough warmth to ensure you care.
If you're looking for a quality family movie with a touch of the classics, you found it. Enjoy, you won't be disappointed. A very solid 7.

Firstly if you haven't seen 1883, that is simply a masterpiece with human stories, heart and brutal and emotional story telling at its best. It easily tops the list of shows in this genre.
American Primeval is also a very good show and well worth a watch. The cast is great and the show moves at a fast pace, keeping you engaged and increasingly invested in the characters and what their fate might be.
There is a central story where we follow Betty Gilpins character as she embarks on her journey with young son in tow, but with various other storylines playing out alongside it, the shows feels big an expansive, with each story worthy of a show of their own.
Invest the time, you won't be disappointed.
