Part 1 was definitely something interesting, however, the latest part 2 of this Dilruba franchise was so disappointing. First of all, there is no storyline or a robust screenplay. A lot of moments were unreal and Bollywood cringey. Second of all, Tapsee Pannu has the same old expression with no versatility throughout the movie. I enjoyed watching Sunny Kaushal and his talent throughout the movie was interesting. I give the movie 1 star for the actor!
Thirdly, Vikranth Massey was under utilized, and his character felt misplaced & boring to watch. Jimmy Sherrgill was good, however, none of the cast members can save the poor story development.

Acting was good but the story is so average. Same flashback and revenge genre, combined with the concept of 'thrill'. I wish I hadn't wasted my 2 hour watching this overhyped loved. The whole movie felt like the writer wanted to create a 'thriller' but didn't know how to. So, the writer sticked up old Malayalam revenge stories into one movie called 'Thalavan'. I feel bad for the audience who will go through the whole movie experience to reach disappointment. In this modern era of successful Malayalam movies, 'Thalavan' is a shock from the past. SKIP this movie easily and you'll save 2 hours. Bad bad bad.
