As a longtime fan of Panchayat, Season 4 was a crushing letdown. What once felt warm and quietly profound now feels hollow and dragged out. The characters are tired, the humor is forced, and the story lacks purpose. Even Abhishek seems disinterested. Emotional beats feel calculated, not earned, and the pacing is unbearably slow. Worst of all, the ending was a big disappointment grim, jarring, and unacceptable. Panchayat used to be an escape; now it just feels like a chore. Here's hoping they find their way back if there's still time. All the best for the next season and hope the team fixes the mistakes made in season 4.
Well, where do I begin? Kudos to the stunt men and crew for their hard work, but the true villain of this movie is overconfidence - and no, it's not the bad guys on screen, it's the director himself. This movie could have been a true action-packed hit, but instead, it's like watching a ship sink, slowly and painfully.
First, let's talk about the acting. Ranveer Singh, the man with the potential to shine, has been handed a task to overact so much that even the film's background music sounds embarrassed. I mean, he's screaming lines like he's trying to win the "Most Dramatic Hero" award. But sadly, this overacting just ends up looking like a badly scripted stage play.
The movie, though, is like a roller coaster built entirely on action sequences with no real story or depth to keep you hooked. It's like the director thought, "Why bother with a plot when we can have explosions and dramatic slow-motion punches?" Sadly, the movie feels more like a glorified action ad rather than a solid film.
I appreciate the effort behind the stunts, but they're so over the top, you might as well be watching a cartoon. There's no such thing as too much when it comes to action, right? Wrong! The movie ends up being a chaotic mess, like throwing every spice in your kitchen into one dish and calling it gourmet.
In conclusion, this movie was a complete waste of time. The director's overconfidence completely sank the boat. Watch this if you want to feel like you're trapped in a never-ending sea of exaggerated fight scenes and dialogue that makes you cringe. Singham may have a strong roar, but this movie is just all bark and no bite.

It looks like a documentary film and it's difficult for you to be tied up with each episode and watch all the episodes.
Scenes are changing too fast and it's difficult to understand what is going on and the story line. I think the editing could had been much better.
Most of the actors are new and you are reminded every minute that the scene is acting and not true (credit to director).
Only reason I watched was coz of Randeep Hooda. However, his appearance could not help to make this series appealing.
Currently the rating for this series is 9+. Which looks really unrealistic to me. Poor direction and editing has put this series down. I hope 2nd session is not made for this.
