I loved it. It was like a Tom Stoppard play but not *that* absurd. So many backhanded compliments and backhanded insults, subversions, and great acting.
Don't expect a serious film. The mystery isn't even that important either. It's about the people in it, the time period (50s) and a little bit of old time sensibilities with our modern sensibilities interleaved to make amusing contrasts.
The set design and costume design is beautiful. London of the 50s feels alive and homely at the same time. And the cinematography is dramatic and intriguing.
I loved it. I had no idea it was going to be so clever and interesting.

Really great cast and a believable underlying story, with a personality driven story on top that is a little coincidence heavy but acceptable.
Not sure why anyone would expect The Godfather here. It's sweet, cute, and pretty funny. It's nice to see the people we fell in love with, older, not necessarily wiser, and having a good time.
