Even though I keep watching, this series is really frustrating me.
Two women in love with the same man and all the intrigue surrounding it.
It's a pity the writers made all the characters pathetic...in different ways.
The ML is a complete narcissist. He never takes any responsibility as he is NEVER wrong in his own eyes. Yet he put both women in terrible positions, not to mention his child. He has no empathy, screams and shouts and refuses to listen to anyone but himself and "fixes" everything with his fists and bad temper. And he turns all arguments around to make it someone else's fault...like a true narcissist. There is no way he loves Nur. A person doesn't treat someone they love like Yigit treats Nur. Why on earth these pathetic women are in love with him can maybe only be explained by the size of his bank-account...there is no other reason, as he is so unlikable. A pity. This series had potential in the beginning.
Cahit is pathetically weak.
Iclal is pathetic in her obsession and meanness. She is a narcissist too and actually the best fit for Yigit. The way she treats Firat is appalling; after he was wiling to kill for her (sick by the way). But he keeps running after her like a sick puppy.
Nur is pathetic in her co-dependency and having no self-respect and pride (even though she keeps talking about pride...she has none). Yelling and fighting and then taking the blame won't make a narcissist love you more...they can only love themselves. The way she puts up with abuse is sickening to watch.
Firat is pathetic in his obsession with Iclal...truly not love.
The only wholesome person is the policeman Fatih, Nur's childhood friend. It would've been a good thing if Nur actually started seeing Yigit for who and what he is (not a good guy) and falls in love with Fatih.
I seriously wonder about the writers when ALL the characters are such mentally ill people...... The 1 star are for the acting...it's not their fault the characters are unlikable.
It's beyond toxic and not worth wasting my time on anymore, as the bad just keeps winning. Plus I can't stand how Nur keeps making excuses for Yigit who seemingly can have a harem but his ex can't even look at anyone else. Also can't stand her constant screaming and shouting at Yigit....just walk away girl. How often does he have to show you how selfish and arrogant he is?
Sick, sick, sick series. I've reached my end with this series.

Edit: Please, please don't let us wait too long for season 2! This is an absolutely brilliant series. My goodness. Who is Hollywood...they can only dream of filming such a brilliant series! I wish I could give this series more than a 10 star rating.
Wow, I didn't know what to expect from this series but am I stunned!
This series is beautifully written and casted. This series draws the viewer into this story and grips the attention from beginning to end. I can't wait for the next episode.
As a foreign viewer, who doesn't understand the religion and differences, I find this series so interesting. Regardless of belief system, there are good and bad characters everywhere.
From a child-bride to a blossoming love, while keeping respect and integrity. In contrast, the mother was also a child-bride but experienced the opposite as her daughter, in an abusive relationship and she would do anything to prevent her daughter from suffering a similar fate. She tries her utmost, with the help of a psychologist to get her genius daughter to rather study, but the restriction in the religion won't allow it. And they find themselves in life-threatening situations regularly. But all plans fail and it's as if fate is keeping her and her husband together.
Every week, the series keeps revealing different layers.
Really a series worth watching. Hope it continues for many more episodes!

Edit: Was it necessary to make Derya the biggest braindead character of all series? It's so unbelievable, it's laughable. Why did she not phone the police when that evil buried Yonca? There was enough evidence right there and he would've been caught red-handed, but no, she had to try and solve things her way. I know the story has to continue, but really....? Make it more believable. This series is getting beyond ridiculous and Hançer's attitude is getting really boring. No sane person is so self-sacrificial. She actually doesn't love Cihan. This series has entered stupid-territory.
I wish I could write just one sentence.... I forwarded three quarters of each episode and still didn't miss anything. There is too much fluff that doesn't need to be there. And everything borders on the ridiculous.
I would've liked to ML & FL in a series with a bit more meat. They both have potential. I don't think the script gives them any opportunities. The ML can be soulful. The FL, in this series is too slow. The way she brushes her hair or cuts cheese or doesn't respond (her sister in-law has to tell her what to do all the time). It's like her brain doesn't work. It's too much. Did you hire her just for her beauty? Please give her a personality.
If only the storyline can be a little more interesting and the Directing be better...with not such long pauses and a better, more natural flow to it, it has potential.
