It is a real pitty that movies like this are apparently becoming mainstream. It is dark, dirty and just annoying. Why the arty-farty "maybe I am too stupid to understand" kind of spirit?? I miss old blockbusters like Gladiator 1, Shawshank Redemption, Interstellar etcetera etcetera. The acting is good, the shots are good, but my God, that voice-over is so annoying as well. I was already irritated at the beginning of the movie. I should have stopped right then, right there, but curiosity won.
If you like art house movies, that have multiple layers, you might like it. But for me it was 3,5 hours of boredom. But hey, that is just my opinion.
