The Lockpicker made me respond emotionally to these all too familiar teenage settings and circumstances... It sustains an ominous mood and intensity that makes me empathize with the character of Hashi. Keigan Umi Tang's was able to portray this challenging character with such charm and vulnerability. I was amazed to learn this was his first role!
