The Slasher Nurse is a great homage to the classic slashers but also a breath of fresh air. The Slasher Nurse is a new masked killer that deserves her place next to Myers, Jason, Freddy, and Art the Clown. With great writing, good acting, and great practical effects (no CGI here), this indie movie is able to fit in seamlessly with other slashers with higher budgets. This movie balances brutal kills with a few good laughs that keeps the movie moving at a good pace. I would love to give spoilers (hint bar scene OMG!!!) but everyone needs to experience the Slasher Nurse's debut for themslef. A real slasher movie gem and i hooe to see more from this killer.

P. S. The duck is hilarious...yes i said duck...you will just have to watch the movie.

This may be an indie movie, but it stands up to many of the slasher movies with good writing, good acting and well done practical effects (no CGI here). The slasher nurse deserves her place amongst the slasher icons (Myers, Jason, Freddy, and Art the clown). Great kills with a few laughs. Definitely worth a watch if you want a good old fashion slasher with a modern new killer.

I really enjoyed this anthology. As with most anthologies, some stories are better than others but even the weakest stories are still enjoyable. Good mix of humor and horror and worth a watch. The host defininantly has an Elvira feel which is never a bad thing.
