Christopher Nolan should have made this movie first, then Interstellar. I was looking for the science aspect of the film, and was disappointed that it was more grounded in Hollywood showmanship. Still a good movie, just don't expect to have your brain twisted the way you were expecting.
I don't think I've seen a worse movie in my life. I don't know what the budget was to have this made, but it would have been better spent setting it on fire and watching the ashes disappear in the wind. Not funny, not scary, incredibly lazy, and a slap in the face to horror and comedy. I would give this zero stars if possible.
Saw this movie being promoted on IMDB, then found it at the local Redbox. Watched it the first time and realized that I missed a good chunk of it due to feeling like I fell into a trance because of the psychedelic imagery. A lot of genres crammed artfully into one movie. A little Fear and Loathing. A little Hellraiser. A little John Wick. Great film!
