Why does the BBC insist on making and promoting awful programmes like this? The whole thing had a strange ,off kilter feel to it with really poor acting and a dire script .The storyline regarding the USB stick and the cellar goes on and on and on. I can only assume that David Tennant is struggling to act as he is also trying to put on a dodgy accent at the same time. There are so many good shows lurking in the background on the BBC but they never get the exposure they deserve as this kind rubbish gets forced on us. How often do you see an advert on the BBC for Snowfall? It was the same story with the appalling Bodyguard series when The informant was a far superior programme but was barely mentioned.
I love the Unexplainers on BBC radio and the podcast so was chuffed to see Mike Bubbins in this and he's a PE teacher again :) Hopefully it will a get a series and we can see more of his story and more of his Capri!
Absolutely awful, terrible storyline, terrible script, poor acting etc. Why anybody highly rates programmes such as this, Line of duty, The bodyguard etc is beyond me. If you want a couple of iPlayer shows to binge then try Snowfall and The Informant, infinitely better. If you want a submarine thriller then pop Das Boot on.
