This season, especially this episode, is for the women everywhere who have ever felt overlooked, undervalued and have the greatest ambition for themselves. This episode hit me square in the chest with its earnestness and sharpness. Penelope is perhaps the most dynamic and stiff backed character in modern depictions of the female archetype.
From cinematography to character development; this episode creates space for characters and families to explore the complexities of self. I am overjoyed to see the adaptation of these lovely books to a beloved series that I will be watching and rewatching. X.

Not to nitpick but the entire point of the last blockbuster is that it's in Bend Oregon, and even though it might no be the biggest draw to bend, it's a funny anecdote. Why Michigan? Just say Bend and be done with it. Words do not express how mad it makes me.
Also the show itself was tired and boring. I understand the draw to dig into the nostalgia of the blockbuster days but this is a shallow dig at the experience. Blockbuster was a whole nights planning and exploration as a child, I don't understand why this wasn't treated with more respect.
I always loved blockbuster and the one in Bend was a whole experience, this makes me so sad.
