Don't judge a movie by it's title. This movie is terrible. The effects are non existent...There is no(I repeat NO) gore in this movie! No flesh, no feasting, just a boring and horribly edited waste of time. The only thing close to the flesh feast promised are occasional shots of maggots. Scary indeed. Avoid this film AT ALL COSTS

If you haven't seen Jason X yet, you have no idea what you are missing! It's a completely crazy horror flick that knows exactly what it is, a ridiculous attempt at bringing back a dead series. Surprisingly, it works! The way that it makes fun of itself adds to the overall effect. and the script itself was fabulous, the way they brought back old ideas was ingenious. I can't recommend this movie enough. Even if you hate horror movies, this is still the best popcorn movie to date, ever!

This is one of those special horror flicks that makes you laughs, but also scares you. When a horror flick can balance those two important aspects like that, you know you have something special. This movie was the first in the series to give Freddy his patented one-liners after killing people, and the only movie of the series that used them well. Every time I hear Freddy say "Welcome to Prime-time, Bitch", I leap with excitement! Check this out before any of the others. I enjoyed watching this movie more than the first!
