Unlike every other series, it feels like each episode finally has its own arch and isn't waiting for the season finale for something interesting to happen.
I am truly at the edge of my seat watching this one and am blown away with the direction they take it and eager to figure out where it ends up. It's so much faster paced than I anticipated and truly does not disappoint.
Every character seems to have just the right amount of screen time. There are no blaring continuity issues and the cringe factor is at a minimum.
Cinematically this show is stunning, however, they need to put someone new on the VFX for the spearhead shots. They occur way too frequently to be as lazily done as they are.
Overall I am super excited to continue watching this show and can already say it is my favorite TWD series yet.

This movie is absolutely hilarious and exercises our weakening muscles of nuance.
The writing, directing, and acting in this movie is diamond flawless and leverages our innate tendency towards power dynamics, servitude, and privilege to display an inherent absurdity in human nature and survival.
The way the characters adapt to extremely volatile circumstances makes for a wild journey into something both disorienting and beautiful.
This movie explores tensions and resolutions between socialism, capitalism, sexism, "wokeism", and privilege in a highly unique and subtle way.
This movie is a must see for anyone who enjoys a cerebral laugh.

What could've been a cerebral masterpiece was tainted by misdirection in the cutting room.
'Infinity Pool' explored a novel sci-fi approach to classist privilege in an exotic totalitarian regime.
A concept that if executed with care could not be more relevant, horrifying, and thought-provoking.
However, the attempts to disarm the viewer and build tension felt entirely disconnected from the overall plot, the acting and motives of the characters did not feel believable, and the writing lacked any semblance of nuance or complexity.
All said and done Richard Raaphorst's work on this movie was absolutely phenomenal.
