I found the movie very interesting and was actually wondering why had I not heard of this movie before. In addition to whodunit / what happened - a mystery, it is also a telling commentary on our society. All the actresses and actors did a great job. I am anyway a fan of Nimrat Kaur - and she of purse played her role very well. I thought Radhika Madan essayed the role of a small town girl trying to live her life, grow in her life excellently. I would have liked to know more about Sajni's elder sister and mother. Well directed and tightly done - nothing seemed superfluous. Shall google the director for more movies directed by him/ her.
PS Having to meet the minimum character limit is so painful but I understand it is to promote genuine reviews. A pain all the same😄.

Watched it for the actors Kajol and Kriti Sanon. Shaheer Sheikh was a pleasant surprise. I was not expecting to enjoy it, given its reviews but surprisingly it had me invested. Kajol reminded me of Kate Winslet in the Mare of Easttown. While the two differ, am glad such movies are being made. The harsh reviews made me realise we Indians are very harsh on Indian directors / producers / actors and pretty lenient in terms of story / execution with foreign movies and serials on OTT. I felt this movie is an interesting one time watch and gives me hope for quality movies and serials in the Indian OTT field ahead.
Began watching and the beginning seemed so promising, that I clicked on pause till the family gathered to watch along. With a galore of characters and good actors to enact them - the movie is a good watch. Just when you smugly anticipate an outcome, there is a twist in the tale. The director's favourite actor seems to be Dimple Kapadia and we are not complaining ! Always a treat to watch her. The story totally seemed right out of an Agatha Christie movie - just the right one to watch on a cosy evening for a delicious whodunnit and whoizit! A little slow at times - but Christie stories generally are. Sara Ali Khan is so bubbly, Pankaj Tripathi another actor always a treat to watch. Will not take any other actor's name as I feel I will be unfair to the actors whose name I miss out as each character has a strong story attached to him or her and each one enacted it so well!
I am always amazed and disappointed at the negativity we give to Indian mystery movies. This prevents more movies in this genre to be made.
