How many times do you need to transport the veiwer out of the movie? Saying this is a movie over & over does not help to take you on a journey. Its right and proper for this movie to culminate around a giant toilet that no character in the flick could sit on.. its literally a giant terd floating in the river of animation. The STAR power alone & you couldn't make me care about the characters.. did i here Al Pacino finishing off this stinker? MAN, just why? Samuria films are my favorite genre, this made me cringe too many times to count. . Just stop, before you humiliate yoursleves next time..A literal joke.
Without hesitation i recommend this film for anyone who wants to be transported into the samurai saga escapeds of begotten years. Delves into the formulations of epic timeless tales rarley found in the last 25 years. Honestly until the credits rolled i thought i was watching a production from then. Of course it can be hard on the stomach, not so much because the violence isnt outmatched by the cinema of our time, but because the experience feels so real.. Im a fan of this time period & those who express it, not because im obsessed with some of the most carnal human experiences to hit the box, but because again, it is actually real, is actually a part of human history & despite its flavor, depicts our experience.. I cried, i laughed, i cheered... Bravo family, bravo.
Cant really understand the 3.9 rating.. maybe its just because it only came out a minuet ago..but still wow.. with the garbage they put out these days im still suprised.. could it have been better, im sure, but i think its clear this wasnt block buster budget. The acting was accurate enough. I imagine most people haven't actually ever known any real life mob characters & despite only having movies to set their opinions by, think they know what its really like.. well im not saying this was the Godfather, but the acting wasnt too far off base, At All.. like i said in the description, its a movie about real life things that happened, & plays that way, like a solid docudrama/mob film about them.. i enjoyed it for what it was.
