First as a set of short films based on the evolution of society and technology, and the greed/ingenuity it takes to change things, and then the actuality that they don't really change, just some new faces, with some more tainted fingers in a very dirty pie. Whatever your thoughts on the industry... The invention was astonishing, the fallout was predictable.
The script, the acting, the cinematography, the sets, and most importantly the driving ideas behind the message that both led to the creation of Spotify, and then to the degradation of the very message the creators founded it on.... It is a truth that has found its way into all parts of our society, and into what will become the history of the technological renaissance.
Though not a new thought (see The Social Network or The Billion Dollar Code) It is a very important story/message, and here it is very well told. As far as it's truth is concerned, I'm guessing as usual the truth is more tragic, terrifying, and yet more beautiful.... reality is but the best story, true film is striving to glimpse it. Just like all the art and artists that came before. Let our dreams be free.

So 10 minutes in they are talking about Lara Croft and how the industry sexualized her to sell games... then they have a girl as the lead with very large tracks of land wearing a tank top most of the time... If you're trying to rise above it or help others to do so, then why do you dive right down to the bottom of it, without ever coming close to getting to the bottom of anything... Though the big girl telling the dude bro .... you just don't see many pegging jokes.... Let's just say I wouldn't make a football movie without knowing even a little bit about the game of soccer. They made a really bad video game movie, and a worse movie about equality.
So this show... I tried to watch it because I'm a Community fan and I play MMOs, and it's always sunny and all, and I was like meh.... but actually watched what I did because I heard of this episode... This modern love... crushing one another with colossal expectations... Perfection doesn't exist, but this comes close to explaining it.
