The story is quite beautiful on how the main lead (Kim Jojo) struggled with her relationships because of her own issues within herself. This series showed how our childhood experiences/ relationships can affect our future relationships throughout our lives. It also showed different phases of love. First phase (first boyfriend) was a good friend/ acquaintance, second phase (second bf) from an infatuation or toxic love, third phase (third bf) was a non-toxic relationship with peace. Many are disappointed with the ending but it is realistic. If I were Kim Jojo, I would pick a non-toxic relationship whose values are compatible to mine. Nevertheless, Kim Jojo and Sun oh's on-screen chemistry was undeniably strong.
Some have mixed emotions about the second half of the series but personally, I think that the storyline is impressive. Some k-dramas' storyline are predictable but this one, it's not. And I really appreciate that. K-dramas, even though the plot is predictable at times, you get hooked to it because of the script, cinematography, actors and all. But I think that k-dramas in general are developing, in the sense that the events get unexpected and that's a thrill that I really appreciate. This is one of the best because it tackles family, friendship, love, youth, dreams, business, comedy, it's an all-in-one series with the right balance of each and you rarely get that. I feel that Han Ji-pyeong's character is mainly about his need for family while Nam Do-san's is about his self-confidence and his love for Dal-mi had overcome that. Nam Do-san's character development is so good that he became more self-confident and cried less. Plus his acting is superb. I mean, who can act like that with a socially awkward smile, I can't think of any. Maybe Ji Chang-wook? Overall, again, this is one of the best since I was able to finish it in 2 days and that's a sign for me if the series is good. You can't get enough of it.
