Yes its a Barbie which means it will be on par with the animated movies (having a lead character and the story revolving around her), but when I put it on my, the acquired humor caught me unexpectedly and the movie had a few high points and it somehow, for god knows what reasons, kept my interest.
The conflict part which started when Ken was introduced to the men world was pure comedy. The whole KenLand was pure comedy and imo probably the best part.
On the other hand, I also wasn't a fan of how they the BarbieLand was essentially controlled by you know who, but it was exactly the opposite of what happens in real world so yeah if what happens in the real world, being rules by men, is justifiable then yes BarbieLand practices are also right.
On a whole a good small giggly movie but not worth a rewatch.

The movie has a very good tone, I would say something like "Air" where also Ben Affleck starred. Starts of good, nothing much happening, more like a setting up for the drama that follows.
Tony was a nice character, not like out of world directed but I would believe its a true story the way the characters are setup and the way the story is displayed.
So my objection and the reason on giving the rating is because the movie took a little late to take off and when it did it was a little to dramatic that, it being based on true story, doesn't hold in the real world. Yes, its a movie and they want drama but man they little were putting suspense that wasn't even required like something less and more realistic would have also worked. If I be honest I was on the end of couch all invested in the drama so it was good in a sense.

Umm, a good laugh with few dialogues and scenes. The introduction is really funny and creates a connection between you and the protagonist. I am not from Bihar and have only heard bihari accent from the movies but I felt Madhavan's take on Bihari accent was funny.
On the story side, just a typical timepass storyline, nothing too much happening. There wasn't anything extraordinary that you wouldn't have seen before, but it also isn't boring in a sense that you wouldn't have the urge to turn it off halfway.
Climax was so so, but this movie would have been way funnier if the exact storyline was in Punjabi.
