This show suited Tom Hardy down to the ground. A great performance by all the cast but Tom was great in this, even the "hmm's" and grunts, said so much, without saying anything. The director did a great job as did the writers of letting the characters grow quickly but yet not rushed. You can see him building a team without it being obvious. It's one of the few shows where I didnt touch my phone, kept me interested every episode.

It's brutal, uncompromising, intriguing and interesting. I won't post spoilers, but it's set around old London, a while after slaves were abolished and trading companies ruled with almost as much power as the royals. There is a hint of dark magic and the treachery of that time period.

Not for the faint of heart, really hope we get season 2. Great show, thankfully something a bit different.

If you enjoyed the first one, then you will probably enjoy this to. I basically forgot the first films plot it's been so long, but that isn't crucial to watch this, but it helps due to context.

I love the chemistry between John and Ben, they play well off each other, the bond of brothers but the chaos of their work is a good mix. Like two guys in the trenches, they know each others style and actions.

Some good action, an ok script, few funny lines. Good performances, no annoying parts and room for a third film if they wanted, possibly would make a better tv series, bit like Jack Reacher. Infact I could see a good crossover been the two franchises. Over all an enjoyable film, but not something you will think about once its over. Good fun.

Just watched it, had an open mind. But my god what a boring show. Nothing really happens. The cast is fine but they are not stretched. It's the most basic story and script going. It's easy to see the subtle humour and the outrageous indifference of these billionaires looking down upon the inconsequential little people but it just isn't funny or amusing, the humour dosnt land as its not meant to be a comedy. But it's not a good enough script to make you laugh or even squirm. It dosnt delve in or get technical so you don't connect in anyway to the situation and you aren't amazed by how close this could be to real life. Its just boring, really boring. Bar the actors wages this must have been so cheap to make. There is nothing "bad" about it but it's a lame script that misses the point, not amusing, no twists, no great acting, it's just super dull. Who signed off on this? It had so much potential. Such a shame.
