Whilst the free diving and skydiving episodes are very interesting...mr bloom really it's increasing irritating. Yes it's great to try and understand oneself and to be introspective..but dear lord, he does not stop banging on about himself!!! What makes him. Tick, why he thinks he is what he is. What he thinks has made him think he is what he is! Not one situation leads to Orlando not giving an 'Insight' into who he really is! Or worse still... how many times a day he works out. Or how much he pushes himself..always destined to go harder, faster, higher,deeper...duller!!! How Orlandos friends cope with the sanctimonious drivel is beyond me. The Chris Hemsworth series is more interesting and done by a guy who is just chilled. OB comes across as a guy who does a challenge, but Lord doesn't he know it!! And he will remind you of it forever more!
Not sure why this would be advertised as a comedy show, it is far more than that and is certainly not a comedy in the sitcom laugh out loud sense.
It certainly has a lot of humour and laugh out loud moments thanks to the fabulous Giorgio, who is a brilliant character. But the humour is subtle. It is quirky and intriguing and gets more so with each episode. You need to give time for the characters to truly develop.
I feel people who have give it low ratings have either tuned in expecting else (such as a sitcom), have not given it enough time or have missed the whole point of it.
If you like things such as shrinking or the detectorists you love the subtle humour and observations in this.

Make your life better...watch Ted Lasso. How you can a make a show so positive, so enriching, with characters who support each other and bring out the best in each other and yet make it witty, laugh out loud as well as dark at times is just a stroke of genius. 11 out of 10.
