I hoped this ahem reboot was going to be just that, but in spite of a new generation cast, with well established players from successful
popular movies, seemed rushed and contrived with retro quality comic book apparatus.
Cinematic, colorful yes, but the scriptwriter/director has taken a leaf out of James Gunn's scrapbook, and left the players with a cartoon parody, albeit dx and dy calculus formulae failed to bamboozle the viewer. Black board Chalk and Talk is cliche ridden nonsense.
But what do I know, don't have a BMA in arts and craft,the trend for us older fan viewers, is to rewatch the previous versions, and re-enjoy the magic which some how is lacking in the the new generation version.

Year 2008.... I watched all the five series episodes avidly,really beat the crap out of Xfiles or possibly inspired it, and
launched JJ Abrams successes in all his ventures.
Now time for a revisit, as my eyesight really can't cope with novels.
