I was excited that there was a new Paul Greene Hallmark movie. I can't say how disappointed I was that he was put into such a horrible movie. The premise of the movie and hot air balloons is great but the female lead - horrible, horrible, horrible. Her bad acting, her witch's mane, her dull voice. I tried to watch for the Paul Greene scenes but it was too painful, stopped after 20 minutes. Should have had the actress that was her assistant be the lead love interest. 2 stars only because of Greene

Don't bother to watch even for Paul Greene; try to find the movie he is in with Jessica Lowndes and Gladys Knight. Now that one is excellent.

Yes, not one of the typical Hallmark movies, girl fresh from break up, mad at world, swears off men, meets nice guy, treats him badly etc etc love at end. Boring. Or old boyfriend comes back, new boy disappointed sulks away, she realizes new boy her soulmate. Little bit better.

This movie is none of that. The scenery is fantastic and different. The polar plunge is a real thing. So the premise of stowaway, and work of the dad a bit loose on reality and detail but remember this is a movie of about 1 hr 45 min, it needs to move along. It is a feel good, appreciate the setting and the engineering feat movie. And you learn about penquins. She meets a person who will help her. He is an engineer, formal not a "player". Friendly chemistry between them. Fish and Tarasiuk are two of my favourite actors. Both matching the character's backgrounds perfectly. Neither character had that buddy "on the phone" to bounce thoughts off of. Each was independent and relied on each other which made the union grow. You should watch, you will enjoy, unless you are one of those who likes the formula Hallmark movies. Definitely worth enjoying Rhiannon Fish and Markian Tarasiuk.

I am glad to see Nick Bateman back. His character is always soft spoken, and likeable. However, not liking the hair style in this one much. Jen Lilley is always good, usually the over emotional lady but this one thankfully not to the extreme. Noted she was one of the executive producers. The story is the usual, boy-girl senior year crush, boy or girl goes away, comes back years later, both now single, maybe maybe not a kid in tow. Either a meddling mother or sister. In this case sister. However, this meddling was creative and liked the brother angle. No kid this time. How come the female lead who stays home is a decorator, writer, gift store owner, radio station announcer. Why not a successful home town lawyer, financial analyst, banker. Looking forward to more Nick Bateman movies.
