  • Great Show

"Target List" is a 2023 gripping action-comedy that keeps you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. Directed by Andrew Arguello and MJ Palo, the film masterfully combines intense action sequences with perfect comedic timing.

The story revolves around five members of the research team that are targeted by an assassin hired by the big pharma. However, two researchers escape the attack and find themselves framed for the crime and on the killer's target list. The audience hold onto their seats as they witness a highly gripping plot.

The film's pacing is superb, maintaining a perfect balance between adrenaline-pumping sequences and moments of suspenseful dialogue. The action scenes are expertly choreographed and visually stunning, keeping the viewers engrossed and thrilled throughout. The cinematography is top-notch, with stunning visuals that add to the overall intensity of the film.

Additionally, the film explores themes of trust, loyalty, and redemption, giving it an emotional depth that goes beyond the surface-level action. The screenplay is intelligent and keeps the audience guessing, providing a few surprises along the way.

As far as I am concerned, I think "Target List" is a highly enjoyable action-thriller that packs a punch with its well-crafted action sequences, strong performances, and engaging storyline. While it may not break new ground in terms of originality, it succeeds in delivering an exhilarating cinematic experience that will leave audiences satisfied.

  • The Real Gem of Movie

Documentaries are usually boring and hard to watch till the end, but seven lost exceeds the expectation. The story follows an American troop stranded in the Italian wilderness, struggling to find their way back to safety during World War 2. The hard life of soldiers is depicted in a way that you feel connected to them as if they are your family members. The acting and direction is so perfectly done that it would show you the real picture of the life and struggles soldiers as they try to find their way back to America from Italy.

One thing that I liked was that the movie is shot by hand in a way that gives a real-life experience which makes you feel like you're experiencing it all first-hand. This gives the viewers a better understanding of the heart wrenching War.

The actors gave such a stellar performance, especially Karl J. Arana who was very convincing in the role of a captain. As a whole the entire cast gave their blood and sweat which was quite visible from their terrific performance.

The movie soars into much depth about the horrific reality of the war that the viewers feel emphatically driven towards the people who suffered in the war. All credit goes to the direction but to the cast and crew as well, they showed the viewers a side of the war that was never seen before.

All in all, seven lost is a movie that will not only you hooked to it through 80 minutes onto your seats but also gives a feeling of sympathy towards the heroes of World War 2 or any other war that is going on in the world.

  • Great Movie

Steve Exeter's "Òran na h-Eala" is an ingenious creation! It helps to put things in perspective that we have never thought or seen before. Exeter has created a picture-perfect depiction of Moira Shearer's life when she was making the biggest decision of her entire career. It is based on nothing but reality. The thoughts that were lingering in Shearer's mind and the battles that were going on in her heart are portrayed flawlessly in this 13-minute short film.

"Òran na h-Eala" highlights the story of the legendary actress Moira Shearer and puts her life in perspective for her devoted fans. Moira Shearer started her career as a ballerina which was her passion from the very beginning but when she was invited to be cast in Powell and Pressbuger's famous movie "Red Shoes"; she had to make the biggest decision of her life which was to choose between her passion for ballet or the fame that will come from becoming an overnight movie star. "The Red Shoes" is a Hollywood classic and Exeter realized that more people need to learn about the backstory that it holds that is why he made "Òran na h-Eala" in 2022; to celebrate the ever-talented actress and her legacy.

The actors in the film performed an outstanding job in their parts, but Shannon Davidson really stood out as the protagonist of the movie. Her performance was unparalleled in terms of conveying sentiments and emotions. Undoubtedly, she is an extremely talented artist but along with that her resemblance to the original Hollywood actress Moira Shearer is uncanny. It is mind-blowing how she looks exactly like the actress she is playing in the movie.

The classic film "The Red Shoes," directed by Powell and Pressburger, is about a young dancer who is divided between her life as an artist who is passionate about her job and the love of her life. For many people over the years, this picture has served as an inspiration, and it contains remarkably current ideals for the historical period in which it was made. That aspect of the film, it is reasonable to assume, has helped it achieve its status. It is no surprise that Steve Exeter utilized this film as a model for a brand-new film.

The concept of "Òran na h-Eala" has never been seen before. It is one-of-a-kind and belongs to its own genre. Director and screenwriter Steve Exeter went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of this homage to Moira Shearer and her acclaimed film was flawless. The retro cinematography, using vintage Leica lenses, gives the viewer the impression of being transported back in time. The movie's tranquil and comfortable atmosphere also provides the impression of being immersed in someone's recollections. One may be assured that this short work of art was created with a great deal of consideration. The mise-en-scene in the film is perfectly realistic for the period depicted. Moreover, the main title song of the movie "Song of the Swan" is extremely catchy!

Exeter made sure for this film to become one of the most memorable short films ever made. The measures he took into creating this movie demonstrate his appreciation and esteem for the Scottish actress. Her experiences have the potential to inspire people, and the world needs to know about it. For fans of the original film, this look inside the star's thoughts ensured that the imprint that "The Red Shoes" made on the world would never be forgotten.
