From the first time I accidentally saw Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels I have been obsessed with anything and everything that has Guy Ritchie somewhere - anywhere - in the credits. He just has this uncanny knack of encapsulating the British underworld - or over world - raw - confronting - fast-paced - if you're a fan - you'll love this - gritty - bit of black noir humour - you watch two people approach each other and you just never know whether one or two will surface - and usually - none! Guy, you're just .... amazing.... You never fail to keep me on the edge of my seat. Such a fabulous choice of casting - I'll keep one eye open now watching Downton Abbey - and Helen - you're my absolute goddess - even in a black cape - Pierce Brosnan - perfect - hope someone gets to scratch those itches of yours! Thankyou Thankyou thankyou.
Demi is outstanding, the entire cast are.
To be honest, this film left an indelible impression on me, once seen, never unseen. With Dorian Gray firmly locked into place, this body horror genre is one I have not indulged in and I cannot guarantee I will ever watch another.
The graphical transformations are not for the faint hearted, but the subliminal message, the shallowness of the industry, is undeniable.
This film will be in my memory banks for eternity, I hope not in my nightmares.
Demi you are beautiful, you are gorgeous and you are already the best version of yourself. You deserve every accolade, it is wonderful to see you on the big screen again.
