This was a really fun and enjoyable movie. I laughed a lot and I enjoyed watching the adventures of these characters. Matthias Schweighöfer did a great job directing this. All the actors were great. The score by Steve Mazzaro and Hans Zimmer is really good too.
The safecracking scenes were really interesting. The editing was also great and the movie had a good pace and balance. The writing also had some interesting aspects that I liked a lot. I liked the vibe and world of this movie. Overall I enjoyed the movie
This is a prequel to Army of The Dead (2021) but you do not need to watch that movie before watching this to understand or enjoy it. This is a really good prequel. I think this movie can work really well even for the people who did not like or enjoy Army of The Dead. It is in the same universe and there are some interesting connections but they have different vibes.

Very authentic and very powerful. Great direction. Honestly the movie really surprised me. I didnt expect something this powerful. Fantastic performances with fantastic songs too. The storyline was executed in a satisfying way and I loved it. It was very simple but also very powerful.
I saw some people saying the main character actor looks old for the role, but I honestly didnt notice this at all. In fact I know 17 yo students who look much older than how the actor looks in this movie. I dont get why this is such a big deal for some people. Anyway I think his performance was fantastic, not just good. All the cast were great actually.

This is very well shot with good camera moves. The score and production design help the experience so much and are effective. The storytelling is nuanced. The direction was on point. I really enjoyed the way the information was delivered.
The tone was great. Sometimes I expected it to go some ways but it surprised me.
Sometimes the movie moved between genres which I thought made the storytelling better and helped the experience. The performances were great too.
The choreography was amazing. It was beautiful but it also was a big part of the storytelling and was meaningful and symbolic and poetic.
It does what it wanted to do in an effective way imo.
This is personal but the movie made me think about greatness in our society, and what it even means. Maybe there are more ways to interpret the word. I think with paying attention it is not hard to understand it during the first watch, but I also enjoyed the second watch a lot too.
