I hate to write a bad review, but I agree with the reviewer of episode 1: the show has potential but the storyline is ridiculous
Here is a hospital senior physician with a traumatic brain injury and retrograde amnesia who is giving diagnoses, advice to other patients, and instructions to nurses, while she herself is a patient. True, she can remember medical school, and by all accounts is a talented physician, but in what world is she permitted to intrude in diagnosis and treatment?
It seems that before her injury she was rather a nasty person (even though she has no memory of her prior nastiness), and there is my opinion no justification for this show to have been made.
I was hoping to record and watch the entire series, but it tests my patience This is only season 1, episode 2. Please cancel the show.

Still a great show; I don.t know why I didn't watch it in 1971 when it came out I was living in London and didn't have a TV
I guess I missed a great series which I'm able to enjoy now, living In America 53 years later
This show absolutely captures life in 1942 I was born just after the war and in the 50,s life was poor and not so different Prime Ministers Atlee and Churchill were unable to make Britain wealthy and family life was much as shown depicted in this show
What did happen to the show was that Colour was suddenly replaced y BLACK & WHITE No explanation and it still captures the story.

There are plenty of good medical shows This one tackles only certain conditions - the mind playing tricks on the patient I'm not sure that it relies sufficiently on organic causation as does modern medicine
I found the show unsatisfying Nonetheless Zachary Quinto is superb 3 stars from me I'm sorry I wanted to like it
Quinto plays a specialist physician who deals mostly with delusions caused by (?) diseases or injuries to the brain or just plai delusion I found the various diagnoses confusing and, more to the point, uninteresting The show didn't warrant my attention Sorry I rarely give a critical review.
