More excellent work by writer-director Rebecca Zlowtowski, this time writing the screenplay. Especially fine acting by Tahar Rahm and by Roschdy Zem, who was so good in "Nothing to Hide.
Fine photography, music, settings, dirction. and acting make for a pleasant experience indeed.
Remarkably well written, acted and directed movie involves you totally even if you know nothing about chess. Many Chicago connections, too: Joan Allen and Austin Pendleton of Steppenwolf Theater, and former Chicagoan Joe Mantegna.
