The film starts off very original and it's fun to watch Elli and Sandie in their lives. Unfortunately, the film doesn't manage to build on its great opening. On the contrary, I have rarely seen a film fall apart like this. An overwhelming number of cheaply animated ghosts dominate the scenes incessantly. It's poorly integrated narratively, which justifies them being there, it's just them. It is incomprehensible why Elli did not take part in the unpleasant situation rather escaped when it would be so easy. It also makes no sense at all why her visions didn't show the big surprise at the end. Is her talent spoiler-free? In the event of a fire, everything catches fire except the stairs. Was ridiculous. Well overall I'm very disappointed because so much potential was wasted.
The whole series was created to destroy thy myth of dexter. The feeling of satisfaction from the original series is no longer there. Bad conscience, reproaches and sadness characterize the series. As a fan of Dexter, you can only look back disappointed after the finale.
I expect a common oldschool horror movie but it was even worse. The camera and set quality is good but the characters were faint and meaningless. Neither were the characters funny nor likeable in any other way. Michael was also just boring. Sad.
