I went into Happy Gilmore 2 with cautious optimism-sequels to cult classics rarely hit the sweet spot-but this one surprised me in the best way. Adam Sandler returns as Happy, now a washed-up golf legend trying to reclaim his swing and his sanity in a world that's moved on. The film balances nostalgia with fresh humor, and while it leans into the absurd (as it should), it also gives Happy a bit more emotional depth.
This was, by far, the best Final Destination movie in the series, which is wild to say for the sixth one. The opening setup was unique and allowed the story to flow better than ever. The humor was perfectly placed, balancing suspense and horror. I was on edge the whole time!"
"I've been waiting 14 years for a new Final Destination, and Bloodlines was well worth the wait. An absolute bloody blast from start to finish and easily one of the best in the series. I hope they never stop making these."
"Tony Todd's final scene hit me hard. It was haunting and beautiful. The kills were glorious and inventive, and the concept still works so well. Death is always a winner."
