I enjoyed this flick. I'm familiar with the director's work from a film festival and I've seen quite a bit of his work. I root for anyone willing to step out and produce a movie with minimal resources. This is maybe the best I've seen him produce. He's had a few films with potential where the acting and production value was subpar but this is an exception. All of the actors were believable and although you know beforehand what's likely to happen, I was still intrigued to see how the story would unfold. The highlight of the movie would have to be the actress, Bre Hassan, and her performance. This appears to be her first credit in a film but she was amazing. I'm looking forward to seeing more of her. Overall, a pretty good movie.
This is an indie show that's a delight to find. This reminded me of how me and my friends growing up and the interactions, dialogue and situations are authentic. I can see this show being a mixed bag for some people but for me it felt so real and genuine. The blend of comedy while tackling some very serious subject matter was genius by the writers of this show. I would love to see a second season.
