I deducted a star because Witherspoon's performance, though delightful, is over the top. She's the quintessential sorority girl and boy do we know it. But she's committed and the movie's pacing is good. I could nitpick here and there, but overall, it's just a movie to enjoy. I didn't know there were sequels until I did a search on imdb.com. I can't imagine anything in the storyline topping this, however. Like Rocky (though a better movie), both movies aren't toppable. Now I have to say more to meet the character limit but I'm not in the mood for spoilers, so sorry, folks. Just sit back and enjoy this film.
