I saw this early in the best IMAX chair! Treat yourself to the big screen! This will please everyone in the crowd, bring your friends.
What was awesome: 1. Story of aging longshot Sonny Hayes (Pitt) vs prodigy Joshua Pearce (Idris). Pitt was especially great playing the charismatic veteran. Follow him from his surf van back to the track! His story gave me new personal inspiration. I like the now older Pitt better than ever. Bardem was also PERFECT as the high-roller team owner.
2. Racing scenes were amazing on the big screen. Movie goers have never experienced racing like this before. A MUST on IMAX, hold on to your seat!
3. The Soundtrack! Everything fit... I bought Stapleton's 'Bad as I used to be' after the show! I was actually moving to the different tracks in my plush AMC rocker.
What wasn't that great: 1. The announcers narrated the races as though the audience had never seen one. This diminished the experience for actual race fans. The racing scenarios also tilted too heavy toward not believable.

This is a great option if you have already went to the high budget movies this summer and need a Plan 'B.' You will be nicely surprised though, as this isn't a 'B' movie. I kept waiting for my review meter to drop, but it never happened. I also recommend for couples night, the mixed elements will please both sides.
This film has a classic horror feel with modern touches. Courtney, Harrison, and Heuston all delivered on their parts.
The limited dialogue was just right to keep you engaged. Shark action scenes were well done and didn't go over the top or leave you wanting more. A new couples sexy survival romance was intriguing. Zephyr as the gritty lead character is easy to root for and will continue to surprise. Tucker as the serial killer will keep you on the edge of your seat with his deranged/insane behavior.

This movie has a big budget feel of the 90's. The sequel delivered! Grander foreign setting and atmosphere. Do yourself a favor and make the trip to the theatre to get the whole experience.
Butler didn't miss a beat. And again fit the part as the badass cop. All actors get it right. Nothing felt fake or cheap.
Unexpected great visual backdrops! Soundtrack was 'cool.'
The action starts fast. Then you get to join the party with the bad guys before the heist. Awesome balance of dialogue to action.
If you wanted the shootout scenes like part one, it has it. A car chase is also introduced, which checks another box for action addicts. Enjoy!
